JAMB Releases 2025 UTME Schedule, Underscoring Urgency

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has recently unveiled the crucial dates for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), leaving prospective students and their families with a sense of urgency given the relatively short timeframe. According to the official announcement by JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, the window for purchasing UTME application forms was supposed to commence on January 31, 2025, has been postponed to Monday 3 February, 2025, instead of Friday 31 January, 2025 and will conclude on March 5, 2025. Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has take this decision and was told out by their spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, on Friday. The exam body said they made this decision because of the necessary adjustments in registration template.

For those pursuing admission through the Direct Entry route, the application period will open on March 10, 2025, and will close on April 7, 2025.

Direct Entry candidates will be required to pay ₦5,700 for their application.
