Tier 1
- Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE): WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS, or foreign equivalent.
- National Diploma, NCE, HND.
Tier 2
- For 100 Level: Five credits at SSCE in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings.
Tier 3
- For 200 Level (Direct Entry): Five SSCE credits plus at least two A’ level passes in relevant subjects, NCE, ND with credit passes, or a bachelor’s degree in another field. Nursing Science requires a registered Nursing Certificate. Community Health requires a Community Health Extension Worker license.
Tier 4
- For 300 Level: HND in a related course.
Tier 5
- For 400 Level (Top-Up Degree): A good bachelor’s degree in a related field.
