Glorious Vision University (formerly Samuel Adegboyega University) has announced its Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. Admission is open to candidates who chose the university as their first or second choice in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Candidates who didn’t choose the university but want to apply can also do so by changing their institution and course of study to Glorious Vision University on the JAMB portal

Eligibility and Requirements for GVU Post-UTME
To be eligible for the Post-UTME screening, you must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Qualifications: You must have five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings in GCE O’ Level/SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, or their equivalents.
- Awaiting Results: If you’re awaiting your results, you can still apply.
- Screening Exercise: You’ll be required to participate in the university’s screening exercise.
- UTME Cut-off Mark: The cut-off mark for Nursing Science is 160, while for all other programs, it’s 150.
UTME Admission Requirements
If you’re applying for admission through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), here’s what you need to know:
- You must have taken the 2024 UTME.
- You need to have five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, from O’ Level/WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB in no more than two sittings.
- Candidates who are awaiting their results can still apply.
- You must complete the online application form and attend the GVU screening exercise.
- If you didn’t choose Glorious Vision University (GVU) as your first or second choice, you can still apply by changing your institution through the JAMB portal.
Direct Entry Admission Requirements
For candidates applying via Direct Entry, these are the requirements:
- You must have purchased and processed the 2024 JAMB Direct Entry Form.
- You need a merit pass in NCE or JUPEB, or a credit in OND/HND.
- You must also have five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, from O’ Level/SSCE, NECO, or NABTEB in no more than two sittings.
- IJMB, JUPEB, or A’ Level qualifications are also accepted.
Conversion and Transfer Entry
Conversion Entry
If you are applying for a change of course, you must:
- Meet the minimum entry requirements of five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics.
- Provide a recent university transcript.
Transfer Entry
If you are transferring from another university, you will need to:
- Maintain a minimum C.G.P.A. of 1.5.
- Purchase an application code and complete the online Inter-University Transfer form.
- Pass the GVU interview/screening.
- Have a JAMB admission letter.
- Ensure your academic records are sent to the GVU Admissions Office.
Application Process
Follow these steps to apply for the Post-UTME screening:
- Visit the GVU Admission Portal
- Generate an Application PIN: Pay the non-refundable application fee of N15,000 for UTME applicants or N25,000 for Direct Entry/Conversion applicants to generate your admission registration PIN.
- Create an Admission Portal: Use your generated PIN and reference number to create your admission portal and access the registration form.
- Fill the Form: Complete the online application form and use a valid email address and phone number.
- Save Your Applicant ID: After filling out the form, your applicant ID will be generated. Save this as you’ll need it for future logins to check your admission status.
- Check for Updates: Regularly check your admission portal for updates on your application.
