Eligibility for Higher Degree Programs:

• Typically, candidates for higher degree programs must be graduates of the University of Ibadan or other universities/institutions recognized by its Senate.
• Admission decisions are made by the Postgraduate College, based on recommendations from the relevant Faculty Postgraduate Committee.

Admission to Master’s Degrees:

• Candidates who do not already hold a higher degree in the relevant field may only be admitted to either a Master’s Degree or a Professional Master’s Degree program.

Admission to M.Phil or Ph.D. Programs:

• Candidates with a recognized “Research Higher” Degree in the relevant discipline may be admitted to the M.Phil or Ph.D. degree programs, as deemed appropriate by the respective Faculty Postgraduate Committee.

Provisional Admission to M.Phil/Ph.D. Program:
