Pay your school fees as soon as portal is upgraded so you can be able to secure a hostel space.

They are everywhere, they disguise themselves as university professors, be careful and report them to the school authorities.
No university of abuja professor will collect money for admission.
UPDATE ON MERIT LIST.
WHAT IS MERIT LIST?
The merit list is the First batch of admission. This class of admission is for candidates with higher Jamb score and a better post utme score, eg 45/50 40/50 and 35/50% respectively.
This will include candidates from across all faculties and choosing the best performance in each department.
The merit admission list is the 1st batch of admitted candidates.
In the merit list, candidates with higher post utme scores will be admitted.
Also, in the merit List , DE candidates will not be included.
But subsequent list will follow and other candidates will be admitted.
There’s not lower post utme score in case of admission.
This means that even candidates with lower score, 5% 8% and above are still eligible for the admission.
While in the process of admission, we might come across candidates that have lesser score and yet will be admitted ahead of those with better score, that is because of their chosen course of study.
The Cut off mark for each department varies.
Candidates admitted on Merit list are those that beat every requirement of their applied course.
Some of those candidates are those that score higher than their course requirements eg Candidate that chose Law and have 300 in jamb and 5 A’s in Waec or Accounting with Bs in waec and 260 in jamb etc.
Merit list always small and cover all departments so when it’s out, don’t panic admission is a very long process.
When do you expect merit List?
Admission into university of abuja has not started yet keep on checking the school website to be remain updated.
Be prayerful and optimistic.

Let’s talk about admission progress!!
That is to say, how do you know that your portal has started to change even before you get admission? Recall that after we finish registration for you, and we send this application reciept as a proof of payment, but it doesn’t show your applied course here.

That is because you have not yet been recommended for any course yet in the school and your applied course is subject to change.
Which means you can apply for Law and it will be changed to political science.
Point is, if you check your portal and see that it has started showing department and faculty, it means you have been recommended for admission, and it’s processing before your portal will finally change to recommended. Now, go and check your portal again, check the screening form and see progress report!
Goodluck.
Don’t forget to Check your both Jamb CAPS and UniAbuja Portal daily (once) if you have gotten admission on any, inform us.
Good luck and don’t panic much the merit list is very scanty.
So with your 35% applying for Law, don’t even expect to be among. Faculty of social sciences(economics) with 35% above will also have some in the merit. The merit list is just 10% of the total number of students to be admitted.
If you’re panicking because your name not on the merit list, just be rest assured that candidates with 8% will be admitted. Infact, at some point we will just wonder if there’s still leftovers.
