Application Process

Follow these steps to apply:

  • To apply for the UNIJOS Post-UTME screening, follow these steps:
  • Go to the Unijos portal and click on FORM APPLICATION.
  • Select 2025/2026 UTME/DE SCREENING.
  • Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click Get Started.
  • Fill in your contact details (phone number and email) and create a password, then click Sign Up.
  • Check your email for a confirmation link and click it.
  • Log in to the portal with your new email and password.
  • Click Pay Screening Charges to make your payment.
  • After paying, enter your five relevant O’Level subjects, grades, and the exam body.
  • Upload your details and print your Screening Registration Slip.
  • Log out and wait for a notification from the university.

Note for Direct Entry Applicants

Only candidates who applied through Direct Entry JAMB Admission and chose the University of Jos as their first choice are eligible. Follow the same steps as UTME candidates and include A-level subjects/qualifications.

Important Screening Guidelines

  • Result Combinations: You are allowed to use a maximum of two different O’ Level examination results.
  • O’ Level Results: You must upload your O’ Level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS) to the JAMB portal. JAMB will not clear any candidate without these results. Make sure to do this at an accredited CBT center.
  • Eligibility: If you do not meet the screening criteria, you should consider changing your course or institution.
  • Honesty: Providing false information will lead to immediate disqualification.
