The registration portal will close on Friday, September 26, 2025. You must register within this period to be eligible for the screening exercise.

Eligibility for UNIPORT Post UTME
To be eligible for the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) Post-UTME screening, candidates must meet the following criteria:
O’Level Results: You must have uploaded your O’Level results to the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). Candidates whose results are not uploaded will not be considered for admission.
First Choice Institution: UNIPORT must be your first-choice institution. If you initially chose it as a second choice, you must change it to the first choice on the JAMB portal before registering.
UTME Score: You must have scored a minimum of 160 in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old by September 2025.
How to Apply for UNIPORT Post UTME
The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) Post-UTME registration for the 2025/2026 academic session has closed. The registration period ran from Friday, July 11, 2025, and was extended to Thursday, July 31, 2025. The online link for the application form was disabled at midnight on this final date.
Important Notes 📝
- Online Registration Only: The entire registration process was online. Candidates were advised not to visit the campus physically during this period.
- Awaiting Results: Candidates with awaiting results were permitted to register. However, they were required to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) as soon as they became available.
- To begin your registration, visit the UNIPORT post-UTME registration page and
- Input your UTME Registration Number to confirm your pre-loaded details.
- You will then need to pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000.00 by generating a Remita code and paying with your debit card online or at any of the designated banks (ACCESS, ECOBANK, FIDELITY, FIRST BANK, FCMB, UBA, and UNIPORT-CHOBA MICROFINANCE BANK).
- After paying, you will receive an Access Code from the bank teller.
- From Wednesday, July 24, 2025, you must log in again with your UTME Registration Number and the Access Code to complete the online form, where you can indicate if you are awaiting your O’Level results.
- Finally, click “submit” and print your registration slip for the screening exercise.
Schedule for the 2025 Post-UTME Screening Exercise
The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) held its Post-UTME screening in August 2025. A mop-up examination was also conducted for candidates who missed the initial screening dates.
Screening Dates 📅
The main screening exercise for all faculties was held from Monday, August 18, to Saturday, August 23, 2025, with the specific date for each candidate’s screening indicated on their photo card. A mop-up examination was also held on Saturday, August 23, 2025.
Screening Venue 📍
The screening exercise was conducted at various venues within the University of Port Harcourt, including the ICTC, the School of Basic Studies, and the ASHGROVE Academy. The exact time and specific venue for each candidate were indicated on their individual photo card.
Important Note 📝
Candidates were not allowed to bring mobile phones, iPads, or other electronic gadgets into the screening venues. It was also stressed that parents, guardians, and uninvited security agents were not permitted on campus during the screening days.

Application and Eligibility Requirements 📝
It is essential that you register within the specified period, as the online link will be disabled at midnight on Friday, August 16, 2025. All candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years old by October 2025. Ensure all personal details, including your name, are consistent across your O’Level certificates, UTME results, and other registration documents, as any inconsistency may lead to disqualification. Also, use a valid personal phone number and email address for all communication. If UNIPORT was your second choice, you must change it to your first choice on the JAMB portal before you can complete your application. Additionally, make sure your O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB website as soon as possible.
Screening Day Rules 🚫
The registration process is entirely online, so you are not required to be physically present on campus during the registration period. However, candidates must attend their scheduled screening exercise at the designated venues or risk disqualification. On the day of the screening, be aware that mobile phones, iPads, iPods, Walkmans, and similar electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited in the screening venue. For the safety and orderliness of the event, parents, guardians, and uninvited security agents will not be allowed on campus during the screening days.
