KWASU Invites Two Categories of Candidates
Kwara State University (KWASU) is open to two types of applicants for its admission process:
Candidates who now want to change their first-choice institution to KWASU. If you fall into this category, you must first complete a change of institution on the JAMB portal before you can register for the university’s pre-admission screening.
Candidates who already chose KWASU as their first-choice institution during their UTME registration.
Eligibility Criteria
You must have either an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) with a credit pass or a National Certificate in Education (NCE) with a merit pass, both obtained from a recognized College or Polytechnic; in addition, to qualify for this great opportunity, all candidates must have at least five O’level credits in the required subjects. These credits must be from no more than two examination sittings. If you are still awaiting your O’level results, you can still apply, but your admission will be pending until your results are officially released.

2025/2026 Session Pre-Admission Screening Registration Procedure
For a smooth and efficient application process, candidates should adhere to the following steps:

- Go to the official university portal and select the “Click here to apply” option.
- Choose the ‘Undergraduate’ link from the top menu.
- Provide your JAMB Registration Number and click “Continue.”
- Enter your contact details on the basic information page.
- Go to the payment review page and select “Make Payment.”
- Enter your debit card information (Mastercard, Visa, or Verve) and submit.
- Use the OTP code sent to your phone to finish the payment.
- Log in to the portal using your JAMB registration number and surname after your payment is successful.
- Click “Login to dashboard” to complete your registration.
Remember to print the completed registration form and payment receipt for future reference. If any network issues occur during payment, the payment process can be re-queried using the JAMB registration number and phone number.
