The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) now know as Yakubu Gowon University it portal for the Post-UTME screening for the 2025/2026 Academic Session is now officially open. You may proceed with your application.
All candidates who participated in the 2025 UTME Examination and selected the Yakubu Gowon University as their first choice, as well as those who applied for Direct Entry (DE) admission by purchasing the JAMB DE form, are invited to apply for the 2025/2026 UNIABUJA online Post-UTME screening.
The registration officially commenced on Thursday, September 18, 2025, and the current extended deadline is Sunday, October 26, 2025.
Public Announcement !!!This is to inform the general public that the online registration for the University of Abuja Post-UTME Screening for the 2025/2026 Academic Session has been extended to extended to Sunday, October 26, 2025. This is to enable those who have not successfully completed their registration to do so. Signed Admission Committee
Applicant who do not register for this Post-UTME will NOT BE ELEIGIBLE for admission into the Yakubu Gowon University for the 2025/2026 Academic session.
Please note that if you do not meet with the underlisted criteria, you need not apply for the online Post-UTME Exercise.
ELIGIBILITY
- UTME applicants must have scored a minimum of 180 in their UTME Examination
- Applicant must have at least 5 credits including mathematics and English in their O’Level result at not more than two (2) sittings
- Applicants must upload their O’level result on JAMB Portal.
- Direct Entry applicants must have NCE/OND/HND/First degree. Candidate with JUPEB or NABTEB A level NEED NOT apply
- All Direct Entry applicants MUST upload their A Level result on the JAMB portal and have it verified by the respective institution from which they acquire the A Level result
- All applicants must be 16 years and above not later than November 2025
- All applicants must ensure that the subject combination for their UTME aligns with the subject requirement for the courses they are applied for
- Awaiting result need not register for the Post-UTME
2025/2026 PRE-ADMISSION SCREENING REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
- Visit https://portal.uniabuja.edu.ng and click on “click here to apply”
- Click undergraduate link on the left panel
- Enter your JAMB Registration number and click on “get details”
- Complete the basic information page (please note: enter only valid phone number and email address and click next
- All candidate are required to pay the sum of three thousand five hundred naira (3,500) only for the screening
- On the payment review page, click on “Generate RRR” and this takes you to the next page
- Click “submit” and you will be redirected to remita payment page
- Enter credit or debit (ATM) card number and other details as appropriate and submit
- Enter “OTP code” sent to your phone and click ‘continue’ to complete your payment
- After successful payment, click on “main login” on the portal, enter your JAMB Registration Number as username and your surname as password
- Click on “login to dashboard” and complete your registration
- Ensure that you print completed registration form and payment receipt
PLEASE NOTE: All applicants who wish to change from one course to another MUST do so on the JAMB portal to be eligible for admission

Document and things needed for Uniabuja Post UTME online application form (for both Jambites and direct entry student)
- Jamb original Result
- O’Level Results
- Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
- Certificate of Origin
- Passport photograph (either white or red background)
- A valid email address and phone number
- Valid O’level scratch card/Result checker
- Signature and home address
- Other personal information such as; next of kin name, address and phone number
- Guardian name, address and phone number
- Place of birth and local government area
- A’Level must be provided such as IJMB/OND/NCE/HND and others (Direct entry only)
kindly note that using your state of origin instead of birth certificate for Uniabuja is quite way better and has more chances for giving you admission
